One person has been taken to an out-of-region hospital with serious injuries following a collision involving an e-scooter and a vehicle in Waterloo. According to Waterloo Regional Police, the incident happened Thursday morning on Northfield Drive West between Parkside Drive and Conestogo Road West. The cause of the crash and the condition of the vehicle driver remain unknown at the time of writing. Eastbound traffic on Northfield Drive West between Parkside Drive and Conestogo Road West is closed as an investigation ensues. Police urge resident to take alternative routes with delays expected.
