At long last, a piece of Kitchener Rangers history has arrived. The Blueshirts announced Friday afternoon that Memorial Cup hats were up for grabs at The Aud. Several pop-up events have been held since their triumph for junior hockey’s ultimate prize on May 31. The only merchandise the store was missing was Memorial Cup hats. “We know many fans have been waiting for these,” the team wrote in a social media post on July 23. “Unfortunately, our additional shipment has still not arrived from the CHL licensed supplier. We’ll share an update as soon as they’re delivered.” Fans will have the chance to scoop up one on Aug. 13 from 4 to 8 p.m. at Door 22, with other pieces of Memorial Cup and OHL Championship merch still available online. Hats will be limited to five per person.
