Racial slurs written inside Waterloo apartment, police say

Waterloo Regional Police are investigating an unusual hate-motivated incident in Waterloo.

A media release said, sometime between Dec. 21 and Dec. 30, someone used a marker to write racial slurs inside a University Avenue apartment.

They did not share what the messages said or where they were written.
