Waterloo Regional Police have charged a 22-year-old Kitchener man following an uttering threats investigation in the city. Police said officers responded to the area of Wilson Avenue and Fairway Road South at about 8:20 a.m. on June 19 after receiving a report of an unknown male uttering threats. When officers arrived, they located the victim, but the suspect had already left the area on foot. Investigators have since arrested and charged a 22-year-old Kitchener man with uttering threats to cause bodily harm. Police have not released additional details about the alleged threats or whether the accused and victim knew each other.
