Almost everyone heading to Brantford’s TD Civic Centre to watch a Brantford Bulldogs game will need to park elsewhere. Due to ongoing construction related to the Sports and Entertainment Centre, parking at the civic centre, also affectionately known as the Madhouse on Market Street, is limit to accessible parking only. Everyone else is encouraged to park at the Market Centre Parkade at 59 Icomm Drive, the Brantford Farmer’s Market or the Earl Haig Family Fun Park. Parking at the three-level Market Centre Parkade is free during Brantford Bulldogs home games, as well as on Saturdays and Sundays. It has space for 941 vehicles. “Several security enhancements have been completed at the Parkade including state-of-the-art digital CCTV security cameras, upgraded lighting and additional security and by-law staff patrolling in and around the Parkade,” a news release from the city said. The Brantford Bulldogs’ home opener is coming up on Friday.
