One person has died following a single vehicle collision Sunday morning in the Township of Ashfield-Colborne-Wawanosh. Huron County OPP say the incident happened shortly after 9 a.m. on Bruce Road 86 between Sideroad 20 South and Sideroad 25. Officers on the scene reported a collision involving a vehicle that had left the road. The driver, a 77-year-old from Kincardine, suffered life-threatening injuries and was pronounced dead on the scene. Bruce Road 86 between Sideroad 20 South and Sideroad 25 as well as Kintail Line between Bruce Road 86 and Zion Road were closed as Huron OPP continued an investigation after the collision. The road has since reopened. The Huron County OPP is requesting anyone who may have witnessed this collision or has dashcam footage to call 1-888-310-1122.
