People travelling between Kitchener and Toronto will need to plan for some extra travel time over the long weekend. There will be no GO train service on the Kitchener Line between Kitchener GO and Union Station on Saturday, Sunday or Monday. Instead, GO buses will replace the regular train trips and run between Kitchener, Guelph, Acton, Georgetown, Mount Pleasant, Brampton and Bramalea GO. The buses will also stop at the Highway 407 bus terminal where travellers can jump onto TTC Line 1 towards Union Station. There will be no GO Transit service at Malton, Etobicoke North, Mount Dennis, Weston and Bloor stations. The last train to Kitchener will leave Union Station on Friday at 11:34 p.m. Regular service will be back on track by Tuesday.
