A Montreal woman has been arrested and charged after a man was sprayed with a noxious substance during an incident in Cambridge. Waterloo Regional Police said officers responded to the incident around 9:15 p.m. on Sunday in the area of Glebe Street and St. Andrews Street. According to police, an unknown woman sprayed the man with a noxious substance before leaving the area. The victim was treated for non-life-threatening injuries. On Monday at about 7:45 p.m., officers arrested a 34-year-old woman from Montreal in connection with the incident. She has been charged with assault with a weapon, possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose, and administer noxious thing with intent to endanger life or cause bodily harm.
