Man who offered car ride accused of sexual assault

Waterloo Regional Police are trying to identify a man accused of sexually assaulting a passenger in his car.

The alleged incident happened in Kitchener on June 14.

A woman said she was approached around 11 p.m. by a man in the area of Ottawa Street North and Rosedale Avenue, who offered her a ride home.

During the drive, the man allegedly assaulted her.

The suspect was described as a white man, approximately 65 to 75-years-old, with a large build, grey hair and grey facial hair.

Police also said the man was driving a red Toyota Camry. They shared photos of the vehicle, as well as a similar model, on Tuesday.
