The Ontario Provincial Police have laid additional charges against a Haldimand County resident as part of an ongoing child sexual exploitation investigation. Police say the individual has originally arrested and charged in April in connection with an online child luring investigation conducted by several OPP units. Since that time, the investigation has resulted in the identification of additional victims in Canada and the United States. As a result of the ongoing investigation, 27-year-old Christopher Petley has been additionally charged with four counts of making child sexual abuse/exploitation material and making available child sexual abuse/exploitation material, three counts of luring a child by means of telecommunications, and one count of possession of child sexual abuse and exploitation material, bestiality, and resisting arrest.
