Two drivers and three passengers were taken to hospital after a two-vehicle crash in Waterloo. Waterloo Regional Police Service officers were called to the collision between a Toyota and Nissan at the corner of University Avenue East and Lincoln Road on Saturday around 2:30 p.m. Both drivers, a 25-year-old and a 34-year-old, and three passengers were taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. The intersection was closed for several hours during the investigation.
