More than three days after a body was found in a parked vehicle just outside of Cambridge, Ontario Provincial Police have reopened Wellington Road 32. Officers were alerted to a “suspicious vehicle” between Forestell Road and Concession Road 4 around 7:30 a.m. on Monday. Inside, they found the body of a person. “Preliminary information suggests this is an isolated incident with no indication of a broader threat,” OPP said in media release. Wellington Road 32 was immediately shut down. OPP have been tight-lipped about their investigation. No details have been shared about the individual, their cause of death or what prompted the extended road closure. Investigators cleared the area on Thursday afternoon. “Wellington Road 32 between Forestell Road and Concession Road 4 in Puslinch has re-opened after being closed for several days,” they wrote in an update. “The Wellington County OPP would like to thank the community for their patience and cooperation during the road closure.” Anyone who has surveillance or dash cam video of the area, between 9 p.m. on Sept. 20 and Sept. 21 at 7:30 a.m., is asked to contact Wellington County OPP at 1-888-310-1122 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 or ontariocrimestoppers.ca.
