Waterloo Regional Police say charges are pending in a crash that sent a pedestrian to hospital. On Tuesday, around 11:20 p.m., a BMW hit a 27-year-old Kitchener man at the intersection of King Street North and Princess Street West. Police said the pedestrian had life-threatening injuries and was taken to a hospital outside the region. The driver of the BMW, a 35-year-old man from Waterloo, was not hurt. The intersection was shut down for several hours while investigators tried to piece together what happened.
