Waterloo Regional Police say charges are pending in a crash that sent a pedestrian to hospital. On Tuesday, around 11:20 p.m., a BMW hit a 27-year-old Kitchener man at the intersection of King Street North and Princess Street West. Police said the pedestrian had life-threatening injuries and was taken to a hospital outside the region. The driver of the BMW, a 35-year-old man from Waterloo, was not hurt. The intersection was shut down for several hours while investigators tried to piece together what happened. Anyone who witnessed the crash is asked to contact Waterloo Regional Police at 519-570-9777.
