Cambridge makes list of Ontario’s top 25 ‘rattiest’ cities

Orkin Canada is out with its annual countdown of Ontario’s Top 25 Rattiest Cities, and one community in Waterloo Region is on the list.

Cambridge was ranked number 18, behind London at 17, and Windsor and Barrie who tied at 16.

Orkin Canada said cities were ranked by the number of rodent treatments they performed between Aug. 1, 2024 and July 31, 2025. Both residential and commercial treatments are considered.

The release from the pest control company also includes several tips to keep the unwanted visitors at bay, including cutting shrubbery at least one metre from exterior walls, eliminating moisture sources such as clogged gutters, and looking for possible entry points outside the home.
