The Brantford Bulldogs left it late against the Sarnia Sting, winning 3-2 after a winner came with under a minute to go. Sarnia opened the scoring at Progressive Auto Sales Arena through an Alessandro Di Iorio effort. Aiden Kelly tied the game up a few minutes later, with Camden McCuaig making it 2-1 for the Bulldogs heading into the second frame. The Bulldog advance was halted courtesy of an Easton Walos goal, drawing the game to even terms at 2-2. The score would stay the same going into the final 20 minutes. A game-winner didn’t come until Brantford’s Xavier Lieb scored on the power play with 29 ticks left, winning the contest 3-2. Brantford’s trip on the road will continue when they head up to Oshawa for a Sunday night showdown against the Generals at 6:05 p.m.
