Ontario Provincial Police have charged a person following an incident involving a construction flagger in Grey Highlands. It happened Tuesday around 3:45 p.m. on Toronto Street in Markdale. According to police, the flag person was directing traffic in an active construction zone when a driver became agitated and exited their vehicle multiple times to complain about the delay. “During the interactions, the individual’s behaviour escalated, and threats of harm were directed toward the flag person,” Grey Bruce OPP said in a media release. The 31-year-old from Brampton was charged with uttering threats to cause death or bodily harm and obstructing a peace officer.
