A man from Elora is facing weapons charges after two people said he brandished a gun. The Ontario Provincial Police were called to a disturbance in the David Street East and Geddes Street area on Sunday around 11:30 a.m. They were told a man had shown the gun to two people. The victims called police and the man was found shortly after. He was taken into custody without any further incident and no injuries were reported. The 50-year-old from Elora was charged with two counts of assault with a weapon and possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose.
