One person has been charged following a fatal pedestrian collision in Listowel, Ont. earlier this year. The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) said first responders were called to the corner of Wallace Avenue North and Elizabeth Street East on May 22 around 9 a.m. The pedestrian was taken to hospital with serious injuries. On Aug. 6, the victim succumbed to their injuries and was pronounced dead in hospital. A 72-year-old female was charged on Oct. 22 with careless driving causing death.
