Kim Kardashian is determined to maintain her "fitness plan" during her pregnancy.

The 32-year-old reality TV star - who is expecting her first child in July with her rapper boyfriend of almost one year Kanye West and was recently advised to relax more following an alleged miscarriage scare - says keeping a "healthy lifestyle" has never been more important to her now that she is "eating for two".

Writing on the new mommy section of her blog, the 'Keeping Up With The Kardashians' star explained: "Keeping a healthy lifestyle has always been important to me. And now it's even more important because I am looking out for someone else's well being other than just my own.

"I've been researching recipes and healthy eating tricks to make sure that I get the right nutrition now that I'm eating for two! For me it's about maintaining a well-balanced eating and fitness plan."

The brunette beauty who is already working with two personal trainers, Gunnar Peterson and Tracy Anderson to help her stay fit during her pregnancy, has also sought advice on her diet from celebrity fitness guru Harley Pasternak, who recently sent her his new book 'Body Reset Diet'.

She said: "My friend Harley Pasternak sent me this book and I am so excited to read it. (It) will give you the tools you need to restart the way you are eating and boost your metabolism. I love his recipes and I know you guys will too!"

Kardashian was rushed to hospital after she was taken ill on a flight back to Los Angeles from Paris last Tuesday.

Her obsession with staying slim and working out was reported to have triggered her health problems but the scare is said to have made her realise she needs to slow down.

A source close to Kardashian recently said: "She's very responsible about meeting all her appointments. But she knows this is something serious."
