TORONTO -- Four-time nominee Jason Blaine has been added to the roster for the upcoming Canadian Country Music Association Awards, as the gala's final performance lineup was announced Tuesday.

Doc Walker, Dallas Smith, the Stellas, Kira Isabella and Emerson Drive have also been added to the bill for the Sept. 9 gala.

Isabella and Smith are performing at the ceremony for the first time while they compete for the Rising Star award, while Doc Walker and Emerson Drive face off for group or duo of the year.

Scottish-born crooner Johnny Reid leads with eight nominations heading into the bash, while Dean Brody of Jaffray, B.C., has seven and Alberta singer Gord Bamford is next with six.

The gala will be held at Saskatoon's Credit Union Centre, where other performers will include Miranda Lambert, George Canyon and Deric Ruttan, as well as Reid, Bamford and Brody.

Reid and Brody are also in the running for album of the year, where they'll compete against Doc Walker's "16 & 1," Paul Brandt's "Give it Away" and Terri Clark's Juno-winning record "Roots and Wings."
