Connor Ingram will suit up tonight in Dallas but won’t start. The Edmonton Oilers goalie left his team’s latest victory on Tuesday after being bowled over in his crease by Nathan MacKinnon. Referees gave the Colorado Avalanche star a five-minute major and a game misconduct, while Ingram left the ice under concussion protocol. Ingram was on the ice for the Oilers’ morning skate on Thursday ahead of their game against the host Stars (6 p.m.). Head coach Kris Knoblauch said a “healthy” Ingram would dress but back up Tristan Jarry, who came into Tuesday’s game to help guide the Oilers to a big 4-3 win over the league-leading Avs. Jarry will start in goal for the Oilers tonight against the host Stars, the league’s second-best team in the overall standings. But while Ingram will be available to play, two other Oilers players hurt on Tuesday won’t be. Knoblauch said both forward Colton Dach and defenceman Ty Emberson have returned to Edmonton for evaluations on their undisclosed injuries. Both are considered day-to-day.
