Police near Edmonton are searching for a man they say was trying to lure two children into his truck over the last week. Fort Saskatchewan RCMP said in a Thursday media release a man driving a red truck tried to lure a six-year-old girl and a nine-year-old boy into his vehicle on two different days in the city’s Southfort neighbourhood. Police said he attempted to lure the girl at about 1:30 p.m. on Wednesday at a park along Southpoint Boulevard and the boy during the afternoon on July 30 on a walking trail near Davis Street. Both children left the scenes unharmed. RCMP are asking residents in the area for any video surveillance footage they might have, including from home doorbell or vehicle dash cameras, from 1:30 p.m. to 2 p.m. on Wednesday around Allard Way, Dittrich Avenue, Davis Street, Durrand Bend or Southpoint Boulevard.
