Police are looking to speak to a person who stopped a sexual assault earlier this year. On June 23 it was reported to police that a sexual assault took place in the parking lot behind Uncle Roger’s Family Dining and Lounge on 50 Street in Tofield around 11:30 a.m. The assault was interrupted by a man who yelled at the assailant, asking what he was doing. The assailant stopped the assault and ran from the scene. RCMP is hoping to get a witness statement from the passer-by.
