Man found dead in northwest Edmonton, police investigating

Police are investigating the death of a man at a northwest Edmonton home over the weekend.

Edmonton police are investigating a suspicious death in the city’s northwest Oxford neighbourhood.

Officers were doing a welfare check at a residence in the area of 157 Avenue and 130 A Street Sunday around 4:45 p.m. when they found a dead man in what appeared to be suspicious circumstances.

The Homicide Section is now investigating. An autopsy is scheduled for Thursday.
