The Edmonton Home and Garden Show kicks off Thursday with free admission on opening day. The four-day event will feature 400 local exhibitors and industry experts under one roof at the Edmonton Expo Centre for those looking for inspiration, trends and advice for their indoor and outdoor spaces. “We’ve got some snow outside, but (Edmontonians) are so ready to get going on spring and summer,” Edmonton Home Shows manager Shannon Novak said Thursday. Home Network’s renovation and design experts, Sarah and Bryan Baeumler, will headline the stage with an interactive presentation on Saturday at 4 p.m. and Sunday at noon. Attendees can also submit questions for the Q&A segment. “Edmonton loves Brian and to have Sarah accompany him, as well,” Novack said. “It’s been a while since she’s been here, so to be able to see the couple in person together is so exciting, and to see that banter that they have together.” A full stage schedule can be found online, with more information about each speaker. The home and garden show will also feature landscaping competitions, plants and seed sales, and a pickleball court to try your hand at the sport with a professional player. Free admission is offered on Thursday for opening day. Guests need to scan a QR code on signage posted at the doors and complete a form online. The link is also available on the Home and Garden website. The exhibition runs until Sunday, with tickets ranging in price from $8 to $16. Children under the age of 12 years-old are free.
