Drivers are asked to heed caution as many parts of Alberta are expected to see heavy snowfall Family Day through Tuesday. Environment Canada is forecasting 10 to 20 centimetres of snow by Wednesday although local amounts up to 30 centimetres are possible. Blowing snow is expected to start Tuesday over central and southern Alberta, including Highways 1, 2 and 16. The federal agency said visibility will likely be poor and travel will be challenging.
