Mild temperatures and fairly light wind are on the forecast for the CFL West Final between the Elks and Lions in Edmonton on Saturday. The day will start out with gusts in the 40 to 60 km/h range, but that wind starts to drop off by early to mid afternoon and the gametime wind forecast is SE 10-15 km/h. Edmonton’s in the midst of an exceptionally warm start to November and that’ll carry right through the weekend. The average high for Nov. 7 in Edmonton is 2 C. Saturday will hit a high of 11 or 12 C in the afternoon with temperatures falling to around 9 C by kickoff. By the end of the game, temperatures will slip to 6 or 7 C. The game at Commonwealth Stadium starts at 5:30 p.m. local time.
