Edmontonian wins $30M lottery: ‘I want to get out of here’

An Edmontonian is $30-million richer after he won the Lotto 6/49.

“I couldn’t believe my eyes,” Thanh Lu said. “I was screaming and woke up the household.”

But Lu won’t be an Edmontonian for much longer.

“I want to get out of here,” he said. “I am thinking of moving to B.C. for nicer weather and property on the waterfront.”
