A cyclist was sent to hospital after being hit by multiple vehicles in Red Deer on Sept. 2. In a media release Wednesday, RCMP said the crash was reported at around 5:50 a.m. on Riverside Drive and 77 Street. RCMP said responding officers found the cyclist had been hit by two SUVS. The rider was taken to hospital with serious injuries. Neither of the drivers of the SUVs were hurt. Mounties said the cause of the crash remained under investigation as of Wednesday and that no charges had been laid. No other details about the crash were released.
