Multiple people were killed in a two-vehicle crash that closed part of a central Alberta road on Friday afternoon. Mounties say a Grand Caravan with two men – a 74-year-old driver and 51-year-old passenger – from Rocky Mountain House were both declared dead at the scene of a serious collision on O’Chiese Road about five kilometres from the Buster Creek intersection. The other vehicle, a Jeep Cherokee, was carrying a five-year-old girl and a six-year-old girl from O’Chiese First Nation. Both died at the scene. The other three adults in the Jeep were taken to hospital. Rocky Mountain House RCMP have no further details and have a reconstructionist piecing together the cause of the crash. Edmonton is about 240 kilometres north of the Buster Creek and O’Chiese roads intersection.
