Highway conditions in central Alberta are expected to be hazardous Thursday and Friday as the area is forecasted to get 15 to 20 centimetres of snow. An advisory from 511 Alberta said crews will be patrolling roadways, clearing snow and applying winter abrasives until the weather event passes and roads are clear. Hazardous conditions will likely develop Thursday morning. Snowfall warnings are also in effect for the Icefields Parkway and south western Alberta.
