Outdoor market season is upon us. And with that, the 124 Street Grand Market will be kicking things off with a block party on May 14. The fun will begin at 4 p.m. on 108 Avenue and 124 Street with live music and entertainment, food trucks, free family-friendly programming, and more than 50 local vendors. This year marks the 15th anniversary of the Grand Market. “As the world continues to shift, people are craving real connection more than ever,” said founder Krista Franke in a statement. “The markets have always been about more than shopping. They are about community, showing up for one another, and about creating space for local businesses and patrons to connect.” The market will run weekly every Thursday from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m., with Sunday markets on 102 Avenue starting June 7 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. There will also be pop-up evening markets throughout the summer.
