WinSport officially launched the 2025–26 ski and snowboard season at 11 a.m. Friday morning. “We’re excited opening day is finally here. It’s been a long time coming,” said WinSport marketing and communications director Dale Oviatt. “We did have some help from mother nature and our snow making crew.” During the off-season, a second floor was added to the day lodge as part of a $40 million renovation. “It was a tight timeline to try to get everything open for this year but we were able to get the second floor effective today (Friday).” said Oviatt. It includes a massive outdoor deck with a brighter, larger seating area. While the second floor is open, Winsport confirmed that the first floor will not open this season to prioritize a positive long-term impact over speed of completion. It means that this year rentals will operate from the northwest corner of the parking lot, adjacent to a Guest Relations trailer offering tickets, passes and information. Oviatt said the food and beverage operation should be open in a couple of weeks. Opening weekend will feature: The Servus Tube Park is slated to open Saturday, Dec. 20 with a brand-new parking lot and entrance. Tickets are now available online. Work continues to expand terrain, including preparations to open the Advanced Terrain Park ahead of the holidays. WinSport’s winter hill will operate: Holiday hours will be in effect daily from Dec. 20, 2025, to Jan. 4, 2026 (closed Christmas Day). The final scheduled day of the season is Sunday, March 29, 2026.
