The weather-pattern change on Wednesday will kick up the winds and give us a chance of thunderstorms in Calgary in the afternoon. The active weather could arrive as early as noon in the city. Gusts will come in from the northwest at 40 km/h, so it will feel cooler than Tuesday. Cool air will continue to filter in on Thursday, giving us a daytime high in the teens.
