Airdrie RCMP say a vehicle fire is expected to impact traffic in the Balzac area for at least two hours. The vehicle is on Highway 566 between Range Road 11 and 13, northwest of CrossIron Mills mall. RCMP said in a 10:40 a.m. news release that traffic in the area will be reduced to a single lane until around 1 p.m. It’s unknown what caused the fire or if anyone was injured.
