A man wanted in connection with an April shooting in Medicine Hat was arrested in Calgary. Medicine Hat police posted on social media Friday that Levi Chudyk, who was wanted on outstanding warrants, was arrested by the Calgary police Thursday night. On April 29, 2026, a man was shot in a residence on Seventh St. S.E. in Medicine Hat, leaving him with serious injuries. On July 31, suspect Robert Bourassa was arrested by Calgary police. Calgary police confirmed that CPS officers assisted in the arrest of the two suspects and that the case is now under the jurisdiction of the Medicine Hat police.
