Two individuals face numerous drug and weapons charges following an investigation that began in November. Police say two people who are known to them were found selling drugs in the 0-100 block of Dermot Baldwin Way S.E., in the area of the Calgary Drop-In Centre. The Calgary Police Service gun violence enforcement team joined the investigation and executed a search warrant on a home in the 6000 block of Centre Street N.W., where police say they seized about $13,600 worth of drugs and weapons. The cache included: ”Targeting vulnerable individuals where they need to access services, especially during cold weather, will not be tolerated,” said CPS Insp. Jason Bobrowich. “It’s critical that we remain vigilant in protecting those who can’t protect themselves and our communities.” Police arrested Abdilkaafi Ibrahim, 24. Ibrahim’s charges include: He is scheduled to appear in court on Wednesday. Morningstar Moosomin, 21, was also arrested. Moosomin is charged with: Moosomin also had two outstanding warrants.
