Alberta’s biggest rock band is coming home. Nickelback announced their “Everything Under the Sun” tour Friday. It’s to mark their new album, which comes out later this month. Included among 62 North American concert stops are seven Canadian cities, including Calgary for a Saddledome show on April 6. The news comes hot on the heels of another story that involved Nickelback lead singer Chad Kroeger. In an Oct. 1 interview with the New York Times Popcast, country superstar Miranda Lambert was asked about a 2010 incident where she was alleged to have punched Kroeger in the face at a bar -- which she said she hadn’t. “I threw moonshine on his face,” Lambert said. “I did do that.” Lambert said the incident happened late at night, when “no one was in their best state.” Kroeger hasn’t had any reaction to Lambert’s story. Tickets for Nickelback’s “Everything Under the Sun” tour dates go on sale Friday, Oct. 16.
