Mail-in ballots are now available for those who won’t be able to get to the advance polls or vote on civic election day in late October. Eligible voters can apply for a mail-in ballot now. To be eligible, an individual must be on the permanent elections register or sign a statement and provide ID. They will be mailed out, starting Sept. 29 once the official list of candidates is finalized. Ballots must be sent back by noon on election day, Oct. 20. If Canada Post services are disrupted, Elections Calgary will use couriers to send mail-in ballots. All the information is available here.
