Local artists showcase their work at Palette Art Show in northwest Calgary

Local artists are showcasing their work this weekend at the Palette Art Show and Sale at Triwood Community Association in the northwest.

Local artists are asking for Calgarians’ support this weekend.

The fall Palette Art Show and Sale starts at 5 p.m. at the Triwood Community Association on Chicoutimi Drive in northwest Calgary.

Oil, pastel and mixed media paintings are just a few styles artists will be selling for various prices.

The show runs from 5 p.m. through 8 p.m. Friday and then again from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday.

Admission is free, and the first 30 visitors will receive free mini paintings done by Calgary Community Painters Society artists.
