A 21-year-old Cardston, Alta., man faces several charges, including attempted murder, following a violent altercation involving his twin brother. Lethbridge police were called to a home on Lakemont Boulevard South around 10:30 p.m. on Dec. 6 for reports of a stabbing. They found a 21-year-old male in medical distress; he was transported by EMS to hospital. The victim’s twin brother was arrested at the scene, and a knife was seized. Police believe an argument escalated into a physical altercation, resulting in the victim being stabbed several times. Bayley Nathaniel Minoose, 21, is charged with attempted murder, aggravated assault and assault with a weapon. Minoose remains in custody and is scheduled to appear in court on Dec. 9. The victim is out of hospital and recovering from his injuries.
