Hot weather coming to Calgary to round out work week

There's two more days of hot weather expected in Calgary before a mild, wet weekend.

It was hot in the city on Wednesday, but the hottest days of the week are still ahead of us.

Thursday is expected to be even hotter than Wednesday — even in the morning. Expect a temperature of 19 C at 8 a.m. that will shoot up to 29 C in the afternoon.

It is expected to be sunny, with a chance of isolated showers and thunderstorms beginning around 5 p.m.

Friday will be a hot one too, with less of a chance of active weather. A system will roll in for the weekend and it will drop the heat and lots of rain, especially on Saturday when 10 millimetres of rain or more is possible.
