Gas drops under $1 a litre at south Calgary Petro-Canada

Gas dropped below $1 a litre in Calgary on Saturday.

On the weekend dedicated to deals, the best one of all may have been at the pumps.

A southeast Calgary Petro-Canada station was offering gas for 99.9 cents a litre Saturday.

The cheap fill up was available at the Sundance Petro-Canada station on Sun Valley Boulevard S.E.

It’s not clear whether the bargain price is related to the Black Friday weekend.

Gas Buddy’s Top 10 in Calgary didn’t show the Petro-Canada station. It had the Costco on Buffalo Run Blvd. as the city’s cheapest, at $1.01 a litre.

All of the top 10 were in the southwest or southeast quadrants of the city.
