More than two dozen dogs and puppies are in the care of city bylaw and the Calgary Humane Society after they were found running around a northwest Calgary neighbourhood on Sunday. Calgary police were called to the 2100 block of 24 Avenue N.W. at around 4:15 p.m. to help round up the canines. The dogs were placed into warm vans and taken to safety. It is not known at this time if any of the dogs are in medical distress. Calgary police say an investigation into the incident is underway but that Calgary Bylaw will now spearhead the investigation.
