The Okotoks Dawgs celebrated Friday night with a 6-3 win over the Brooks Bombers. With 5,711 fans at Seaman Stadium to celebrate Christmas in July, the Dawgs piled up 10 hits including two home runs off the bat of Jordan Kievman. Emmet Stacher matched his pair of doubles with two walks, two runs -- and a stolen base. Brody Forno was solid on the mound, allowing one run and three hits over four complete innings. Forno struck out four. Will Labone, Wyatt Sadier, and Turner Zdunich all tossed scoreless innings to help contain the Bombers. Next up for Dawgs is a rematch with the Bombers Saturday night and Sunday in Brooks. They’re back in Seaman Stadium Wednesday night at 7:05 p.m.
