Crash south of Calgary results in serious, potentially life-threatening injuries

A two-vehicle crash south of Calgary sent three to hospital on March 31, 2026.

Three people were sent to hospital on Tuesday following a two-vehicle crash south of Calgary.

The crash happened on Highway 2A at 4666 Avenue between Aldersyde and High River at around 1 p.m. and involved a minivan and a car.

Calgary EMS say two people were in each vehicle.

Paramedics took one adult to hospital in serious and potentially life-threatening condition.

Another adult was transported in stable condition, and a third adult declined transport.

EMS say a child was taken to the Alberta Children’s Hospital in stable condition.

The intersection was closed for several hours before reopening around 4:30 p.m.
