Country Thunder will mark is 10th anniversary in 2026 by moving its three-day festival in Calgary to June 26 to 28 at the Confluence. Officials say shifting to June from August is the perfect kickoff to summer and allows Country Thunder Alberta to set the stage for a celebration of country music. “We’re thrilled to celebrate 10 incredible years of Country Thunder in Calgary,” said Troy Vollhoffer, CEO of Country Thunder. “(It gives) fans an early chance to experience all the energy and excitement that makes Calgary such a special place for country music.” Tickets already purchased for 2026 will be honoured for the new dates and fans are encouraged to hold onto them. Those unable to attend can request a full refund by Monday, Nov. 24, through the official refund form available HERE. The first wave of 2026 talent announcements is scheduled to be released in December. Early tickets will be available on the Country Thunder website.
