The weather will be quite nice for the rest of the work week—just not as warm. Monday and Tuesday had gusts out of the west and southwest that drove our temperatures up. There will be no wind on Wednesday, so it will be a chilly morning, with an afternoon high in the mid-teens. Clouds will start to roll in on Friday, and the winds will pick up ahead of a system that will dramatically change our weather for the long weekend. Saturday will be cold and rainy, and late Saturday, as the temperature dips to the freezing mark, the rain will switch into wet snow. At this point, it looks like one to three centimetres of the white stuff Saturday night and another one to three centimetres Sunday morning. Daytime highs for Saturday and Sunday will be in the single digits. We will recover to 13 C by Thanksgiving Monday. Fall can be so stunning.
