A group of people who won $90 million in Canada’s largest-ever lottery are set to be introduced on Friday morning. The winners, all from Calgary, matched all the numbers for the jackpot in the Oct. 20 draw. Alberta Gaming, Liquor and Cannabis (AGLC) will unveil the winners at 11 a.m. No details have been revealed so far, other than it is “a small group from the Calgary area.” “We’re super excited for the winner and super excited for players,” AGLC CEO Kandice Machado told the media during an availability on Oct. 21. “It’s a significant win for our province and puts us back on the leaderboard for lottery wins.” CTV News Calgary will be livestreaming the big reveal online.
