Calgary weather: Next snowfall expected Wednesday

Expect another round of winter Wednesday night before warm spring weather over Easter weekend.

Expect another round of winter in Calgary this Wednesday night and into Thursday. It will be a snowy blast that should be similar to the chilly round we had early this week.

Wednesday will start out stable and cool with a mix of sun and cloud with a wind chill of -11.

Clouds will increase throughout the day, and the winds will pick up to 40 kilometres an hour in the afternoon, ahead of a system that will arrive Wednesday night.

From Wednesday night through Thursday evening there is a total of six to 10 centimetres of snow is likely in Calgary. That weather will change for Easter long weekend, which is expected to be warm and much brighter.
